When I
Grow Up

About Book
I'm Bridget, and I'm embarking on an ambitious project: working 100 different jobs in one year for my upcoming book When I Grow Up (Wiley, 2026).
After a major life reset right before I turned 40, I decided to transform crisis into adventure by immersing myself in diverse careers across America. From thrilling to challenging to everyday occupations, each job will become a chapter in both my personal reinvention story and a larger exploration of what work means in our lives.
This isn't just about trying random jobs—it's about understanding how different types of work shape our identities and how stepping into someone else's professional shoes builds empathy and connection across companies, industries, and cultures.
If you'd like to be part of this journey by allowing me to shadow your work for 1-2 days, I'd love to hear from you. Every occupation has a story worth telling and helps make the world go round.
About AUTHOR
Bridget is an author and keynote speaker on goal setting and building a life of purpose.
As a teenager, she used her love of music as inspiration to go from sweeping confetti off Detroit music venue floors to hustling her way into the largest record label in the world - helping to launch some of today's biggest careers in music such as Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, and Rihanna.
Inspired by a viral video of a deaf woman hearing for the first time, she then founded the first ever social good electronics company (LSTN), sold millions of products, partnered with the likes of Google, Delta Air Lines, and Amazon, was interviewed by Today Show, GMA, NYT, and traveled to 40 countries and all 50 U.S. states giving over 50,000 people the gift of hearing.
